Kingfisher Vacations and Kingfisher Real Estate want to wish you all a Happy Independence Day! Sanibel and Captiva have so much in store this year for the Fourth of July! Here are some of our favorite activities to celebrate this awesome holiday.
The Sanibel Island Parade:
The parade takes place along Periwinkle Way and starts at 9:30 AM. The floats start at Island Inn Road, next to Bailey's General Store, and ends at Casa Ybel road, across from Jerry's Foods.
Here's what you'll need:
-Sunscreen & Sunglasses
-Water Bottles
-A Bag for candy and goodies from the floats
-Snacks
-A Chair to sit roadside
Sanibel Community Church Pancake Breakfast:
There will be a FREE Pancake breakfast at the Sanibel Community Church from 7am-9am. The church is located at 1740 Periwinkle Way Sanibel, FL 33957.
Jerry's Fourth of July Celebration:
For year's, Jerry's has been holding a After the Parade Party in their parking lot. This celebration is great for all ages. It begins right after the parade, where the floats exit. Just head over there right after.
Firework Show on the Sanibel Causeway:
The Sanibel Firework Show is a must-do event! Make sure to sit on the bay side for the best view. The show starts at 9PM and will be fired off on Bailey Road.

-Trash Bag for any garbage
-Blanket/Chairs
-Bug Spray
